Mrs. Saunier
Hi! My name is Mrs. Regina Saunier and I am thrilled that you want to know more about me. If you have any questions, comments or concerns, please don't hesitate to contact me!
Expectations:
I am very excited to be working with your child. Some characteristics that describe me are friendly, caring, ORGANIZED, fun, enthusiastic, and responsible. I have some of these same expectations for my students. I want students to take pride in their work and strive to be the best they can be! I hope that they will give their best and be responsible for their work and actions and work to be organized. I want students to enjoy learning and have positive attitudes towards school. I love teaching, and I am looking forward to a great year!!

Teaching Experience:
I am beginning my seventh year teaching. I have been at Honey Island for all of them. I received my B.A. degree in Health Promotions from Southeastern Louisiana University in 1998. After working for three wonderful years at the Cancer Association of Greater New Orleans, I decided to return to school to pursue my dream of becoming an elementary teacher. I completed my certification in 2001. While a student at Southeastern, I received the, Exemplary Elementary Education Alternate Certification Award . I attend every workshop and conference that I can to continue learning and keep up to date on the best practices in education.

Fun Facts About Me...
Besides teaching, I enjoy spending time with my family. My husband Lee and I have been married for over 8 years now. We have a beautiful miracle baby name Ava Rose. She is the highlight of our lives. She is 17 months old!
We also have a very active black lab named Dixie. We love to spend time at the beach and watch football. We are huge LSU and Saints fans!!!
