What is the Super Star Club?
This is a club for students who are interested in going "Above and Beyond" the normal classroom expectations. It is a way to challenge my students and to keep their brains active! I hope to inspire everyone to learn new things all the time because learning never ends! Thank Goodness!
How do I get started?
It's easy!
1.Choose any question from the five categories on the Challenge List: Language Arts, Math, Science, Social Studies, and Humanities.
2. Research your topic using reference books or the internet.
3. STUDY, STUDY, STUDY so you can become an expert on your topic.
4.
Then, copy the question and answer it in your Super Star Club Notebook! Drop it in the Super Star Box and I will schedule a time with you for a short oral quiz.
When you pass the challenge you will earn a point in the Super Star Club! I will give you a star for each correct task completed! Then, I will update the website with your new stats. There are different rankings you can earn as you learn!
The "Hall of Fame" will be posted in our classroom and on the Awards Page of this web site as soon as someone earns enough points. Once you're in the Hall of Fame, you're in for life since you are a lifetime learner! You can track your progress on your own Super Star tracking sheet.
What is the Super Star Club Notebook?
Any notebook that you want to use! Sometimes the small notepads are good for this club, but you can use whatever you feel comfortable using! You may also use a folder with prongs for looseleaf. When recording in your Super Star Club Notebook, please put the number of the question, copy the question, and then its answer below. Keep it organized please! Skip lines in between questions, use neat handwriting, etc...
What happens after you earn 25 Stars?
You will be invited to the Saunier's Super Star Club Reception at the end of the school year. Mrs. Saunier will provide refreshments and treats for all of those students achieving 25 stars. Awards will be given.
What happens after you earn 50 Stars?
Well, then you get the special privilege of helping me research and make up

It's your decision if you would like to be part of the Super Star Club. You can be a player and earn points or be a cheerleader and support your friends. The Super Star Club is for students who are never finished learning. It's your call.
